The farm is nearly rectangular, divided into 3 blocks, the external boundary of which is fenced using jackal-proof fencing. The farm is furthermore divided into 18 internal stock-proof camps.

Topography:
Landscapes include level grass/bush plains, dry riverbeds, etc. The bulk of the farm can be regarded as relatively flat.

No formal electricity exists on the farm yet.
Soil type:
The soil type predominantly consists of Leptosols and Calcicols, which can best be described as follows.
Leptosols typically form in actively eroding landscapes, especially in hilly or insulating areas that cover much of the central, northwest, and southern parts of Namibia. These coarse-textured soils are characterized by their limited depth caused by the presence of predominantly hard rock which is highly calcareous with 30 cm of the surface. Leptosols are the shallowest soil in Namibia and they often contain significant amounts of gravel. As a result, their water-holding capacity is low, and vegetation is often subject to drought. Rates of water run-off and water erosion can be when heavy rains fall. At best, these soils can support low densities of livestock and wildlife.
Calcisols are soils with a substantial secondary accumulation of lime. Calcisols are common in calcareous parent materials and widespread in arid and semi-arid environments, Formerly Calcisols were internationally known as Desert soils and Takyrs. Calcisols are developed in mostly alluvial, colluvial, and aeolian deposits of base-rich weathering material. They are found on the level of hilly land in arid and semi-arid regions. The natural vegetation is sparse and dominated by xerophytic shrubs and trees and/or ephemeral grasses.
Vegetation:
The vegetation is well suited for small stock, game, and cattle farming, and can be regarded as a good mixture for the area, with an even spread of the following:

Almost all the vegetation is edible and can be regarded as good fasteners. The official grazing capacity is 1:8 SSU and is farming accordingly. The overall vegetation is well-managed and no signs of overgrazing.
Climate and Rainfall:
The prevailing climate of this area is semi-arid, with hot summers and cool to warm winters. The farm is situated in a summer rainfall area, with approximately 98% rainfall between October and April. The average rainfall is 50-100 mm per annum.
